Regina Connected Youth
Regina Connected Youth (RCY) is a reintegration and community connection program designed for youth ages 14-24 that have involvement in the Criminal Justice system. A number of youth who are involved with RCY are gang affiliated. RCY program was created through a partnership between Street Culture Project and the Ministry of Justice. RCY helps youth in navigating their probation order, accessing appropriate community resources, and enhancing their skill base through one-on-one mentorship and group based activities. The goal of this program is to help reduce recidivism and prepare both the youth and the community for the youths’ eventual return to the community.
