Who is this for?
Youths (15-21) are referred to YTU through the Ministry of Social Services.
Youth Transitions Unit
Youth Transitions Unit (YTU) works with youth ages 15-21 who are transitioning into independent living. Youth who are transitioning often have little connection with the community or the skills needed to live on their own. YTU aims to build those connections through one-on-one mentorship. Life skill areas worked on will include: all areas concerned with housing, health and hygiene, job experience, community connections, emergency planning, and goal setting.
