Where Good Food, Fun & Community Come Together!
ThriveFest is a community celebration that brings people together through connection, joy, and shared purpose. It’s a chance to step into something meaningful — to enjoy great food, laughter, and games while being part of something that directly supports youth in our community. At its core, ThriveFest is about coming together to create safe spaces where young people can grow, feel supported, and thrive — while celebrating the power of community to make real, lasting impact.

The Quackachoo Cup
Enter a team for the Quackachoo Cup — Think Pokémon Go meets The Amazing Race
Teams of 3–6 people will solve puzzles, uncover clues, and race to track down hidden human-sized Pokémon scattered throughout Wascana Park, all leading to an epic final battle to determine who will claim this year’s coveted Quackachoo Cup. Along the way, teams will be tested on speed, strategy, teamwork, athleticism, and problem-solving as they work together to “catch ’em all.”
Playful, competitive, and full of surprises, Quackachoo Cup is designed to get everyone moving, thinking, laughing, and fully immersed in the chase.
Family-style BBQ + Lunch
Nothing brings people together quite like good food shared outdoors. Enjoy a free, family-style BBQ featuring burgers and hotdogs served in the park — a simple, welcoming way to connect, unwind, and enjoy the afternoon together. It’s a space to slow down, share a meal, and be part of something meaningful in community.
Additional lunch items will also be available for purchase. All food is prepared and supported through The Safe Café and Catering, a social enterprise that provides youth with hands-on employment training, mentorship, and real-world job experience. Through this work, young people build skills, confidence, and pathways toward future opportunity.

Make a Splash: Dunk Tank
Step right up and take your best shot! Try your aim at dunking Jeff (our CEO), Mike, and other brave volunteers who are willing to take the plunge for a good cause. The dunk tank is all about lighthearted fun, big laughs, and community spirit — and it’s always a crowd favourite.
Games & Activities
Get ready for oversized fun and a whole lot of laughter. This year’s games include interactive favourites like the human belt, human whack-a-mole, and human duck hunter — complete with silly costumes and plenty of chances to jump in, play, and cheer each other on. It’s all about joy, connection, and not taking ourselves too seriously while supporting something that matters.
Every dunk tank entry and game tickets supports our youth programs and helps young people thrive in our community.
